Our approach to finding the best possible solution
for any given requirements starts with what we call a discovery, to
formally define detailed requirements and ROI parameters. This is
the most critical part of our process, as we base all solutions we
undertake on an ROI basis, and it is during this discovery phase that
the true feasibility and practicality of a project can be measured.
Without this critical discovery phase, experience has demonstrated
that too often, organizations (and services providers) hastily jump
into off-the-shelf solutions that were not specifically
designed for the organizations requirements, that commonly over-promise
benefits to the organization, that typically offer an all-or-nothing
approach to using the system, and are prohibitively expensive.
Our philosophy is based on open standards and technologies being the
foundation of any solution. The solution is based on your very specific
needs and requirements, our process and methodology ensure that each
step of a solution implementation is pre-defined, measured, and is
based on ROI. The solution is an investment as opposed to a system
with a cost of ownership, and since our solutions are based on open
standards and technologies, when (not if) the organizations
needs change, the solution can be adjusted to the evolving processes
without the need for overhauling or replacing a proprietary system,
or worse, being unable to change and retain a competitive edge due
to budgetary, resource, or cultural constraints. |

Onus provides content engineering solutions and
task-management system design, which facilitates common interfaces
to
end-users while allowing the most efficient use of tools behind
the scenes, in an open-systems, plug-and-play environment.
We design interfaces that facilitate the cost- and time-efficient
insertion and removal of modules of business activities, resulting
in better flexibility at an Enterprise level, not just at a department
level. We understand that the biggest challenge is in getting timely
and accurate operating information involving efforts to coordinate
activities with business partners, customers, and
suppliers.
Weve provided consulting, implementation, development, training,
and support to a wide range of organizations including Fortune 500
companies, printing and pre-press vendors, publishers of all kinds,
consulting firms and service providers.
Some of our customers have referred to us as their eyes and
ears to the emerging technology marketspace, as reduced
budgets, fewer resources, and the lack of time have made it difficult
to effectively stay on top of this rapidly changing and growing
publishing technology area. We are often asked to analyze the current
state of offerings, and extract from the
software peddlers, the real and useful information required to make
an educated decision.
