and publishing technology market(s), an independent, objective
approach to achieving ongoing and changing business requirements with

We discovered that software manufacturers, service providers and their
target consumers were still taking a “desktop software”
approach to defining and implementing complex software solutions.
This has provided very few identifiable success stories over the years,
and has crippled organizations who are “locked in” to paying
off these expensive systems, who require perpetual damage control
among their user base(s), and as these “systems” are sold
at a departmental level, find themselves holding back corporate initiatives
as most departments who have gone down this road, feel obligated to
“ride out” their decisions.
Somewhere along the line, it seems many have gotten caught up in features,
functions, promises, reputations of these “systems” providers,
and have simply lost sight of what it is they were trying to do in
